My Approach

Therapy 1st offers a calm and peaceful environment for you to explore and develop a new understanding of who you genuinely are.

The process of discovering You is very important. Once you begin it will become apparent just how and why you have been living within the parameters of the learned, conditioned identity you believed yourself to be and you will begin to gain clarity on those "personality traits" you wish you didn't have.

I offer you a space where you get to say whatever is on your mind. No censorship. No matter the subject, the fear, the horror or the perceived shame, blame or guilty feelings you have been taught to feel regarding your reasons for seeking support.

Because I spent many years of my life hiding, trying to be invisible before just surviving and then finally thriving I know how it feels to internalise the emotions of self-blame, shame and guilt. 

I know how painful and frustrating it can be to even contemplate trusting someone unfamiliar let alone taking that leap of faith and reaching out and it is with this in mind I want to reassure you I will not push or have any expectations.
